Happy New Pikap Tulwoop Kony chi be Minnesota

Greetings to you folk.

We are already sailing in yet another year- 2009. It is my prayer, wish and desire that this year continues with the good from the past and more so corrects itself to deliver all if not most that 2008 could not.

As we walk towards the terminus of the first month already, let us be reminded that the best assessment of life is not looking back nor looking a head, but understanding where you are presently and celebrating that moment. That moment is not today, that moment is now.

For all the joys that now brings, let the celebration begin right now. If yours already began then continue with the celebration. If it has yet to, then do not hesitate any longer. The ultimate reason for living is to be present and know that you are here now. There are various phrases and terminologies out there that describe who and where we are. I think, I like mine simplistic one of mine better - being there now and celebrating it to the fullest.

I nearly forgot to mention that do not overlook those that are with you and around you in the now. For me, it is my dear family.Konyoo please join in the celebration. It is my desire that our perception of the now continues to be fairly the same, even in plural.

To me diversity of thought, of association, of being are all important. They have a place in my here and now perception of events. How boring will be to live in the now and to just live within your self. Life of exclusion is not only boring, but deafening and suicidal at best.

Before I forget, all those that are close to be, genetically or otherwise, it is the end of the first decade of 2000. With dignity and respect for humanity and family, let us all hold on together as we enjoy what year 2009 has in store for all of us.

Happy new Jeanette, Neema and Baraka - Best of wishes from non other that your crazy dada.
